Abstract
The study explores how Reading2connect® books impact oral reading and reading comprehension among healthy older adults and those with cognitive impairments. The study used observational assessments with 12 participants: 10 healthy older adults, one participant with MCI, and one participant with dementia. Findings suggest reading speed and reading comprehension declines with cognitive impairment. Visual and print supports facilitate continued engagement despite cognitive challenges.
