Abstract
Abstract When considering below-the-knee musculoskeletal injuries, the authors focused on injuries that are frequently encountered in racket sports, including tennis, badminton, and table tennis, which are popular worldwide and are often associated with lower extremity injuries. Pickleball is an up-and-coming racket sport that is not yet referenced well in the literature. The high percentage of below knee pathology seen in this sport is second only to high-impact sports, and this review details the presentation, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of the most commonly seen below-the-knee injuries given the increased popularity of the sport of pickleball.
